These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Learnitha platform ("Learnitha", "Platform", "we", "us"), operated by Thara Infotech ("Company"), located in Tamil Nadu, India. By accessing or using the Platform, registering an academy, enrolling in a course, or making a payment, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.
1. Who we are
Learnitha is an online learning-management platform that enables educational institutions, coaching centers, and individual educators ("Institutes") to host video courses, conduct live classes, administer tests, and sell access to learners ("Students"). The Platform is owned and operated by Thara Infotech.
2. Accounts & eligibility
- You must provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating an account.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account.
- Accounts for minors must be created and managed by a parent, guardian, or authorised institution.
- You must notify us promptly of any unauthorised use of your account.
3. Roles & responsibilities
Institutes are solely responsible for the content they publish, the accuracy of their course descriptions and pricing, and their conduct toward Students. Students are responsible for using purchased content for personal, non-commercial learning only. The Company provides the technology Platform and is not the author of Institute-created content.
4. Payments, pricing & taxes
- Payments are processed securely through our payment gateway partner, Razorpay.
- Course prices are set by Institutes and are displayed to Students inclusive of applicable payment-gateway fees and Goods & Services Tax (GST) at the prevailing rate, so the amount shown is the amount charged.
- By completing a purchase, you authorise the charge for the displayed total amount.
- The Company may charge Institutes platform fees, credits, or usage-based charges as separately communicated.
5. Access & subscriptions
Access to a course may be lifetime, time-limited, or subscription-based, as specified on the course page at the time of purchase. Where access is time-limited, it expires on the stated date unless renewed.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Copy, record, redistribute, resell, or publicly share any course content without authorisation;
- Share account access or circumvent access controls;
- Upload unlawful, infringing, harmful, or objectionable content;
- Interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Platform or its systems.
7. Intellectual property
Course content remains the property of the respective Institute or its licensors. The Learnitha platform, its software, branding, and design are the property of Thara Infotech. No rights are granted except the limited right to use the Platform as intended.
8. Refunds & cancellations
Refunds and cancellations are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
9. Disclaimers & limitation of liability
The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Company disclaims all warranties and shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for content created by Institutes. Our aggregate liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the relevant transaction.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these Terms or applicable law. You may stop using the Platform at any time.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Tamil Nadu shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
